This Web Page contains Abstracts of Suttas (Discourses of the Buddha and his Chief Disciples) from the Pali Canon of Buddhism. The Abstracts covers all suttas in the four Principal Books of the Sutta Piṭaka which contains the doctrinal part of the Buddha's teaching. These are:
A sutta will be referred briefly by quoting the Code Letter of the Book followed by the sutta or section number. For instance M 15 will refer to Majjhima Nikaya sutta 15. This Web Page is in the course of preparation. More sections will be added in due course.
